Support & Contact

Something broken, something unclear, or something you just want to tell us? Email is the fastest way to reach a real person on our team — we handle support for Skewered Up! and every other Amber Roach Games title ourselves.

We reply within 2–3 business days

Support is handled Monday to Friday (GMT+3), in English and Turkish. Purchases, refunds and Steam account problems are handled by Valve, not by us — see Steam Support.

Bug Reports

Reporting a Bug or Crash

The more of this you can send us, the faster we can reproduce the problem and ship a fix.

Include this in your email

  • Which game and which version you are playing
  • Your operating system (e.g. Windows 11) plus CPU, GPU and RAM
  • What happened, and what you were doing right before it happened
  • The steps to make it happen again, if you have found them
  • A screenshot or a short clip — hugely helpful for visual bugs
  • Your log file, attached (see the card next to this one)

Where to find your log file

  • Press Windows + R, paste the path below, then press Enter:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Amber Roach Games
  • Open the folder named after the game and attach Player.log to your email.
  • If the game will not start at all, send us the file anyway — it usually still tells us why.

We will never ask for your Steam password, your account details or a payment method. Nobody from Amber Roach Games will ever request them — please do not send them to anyone claiming otherwise.

Common Questions

Before You Write to Us

Most messages we get are one of these. If yours is not, write anyway — we would rather hear from you twice than not at all.

I want a refund, or my purchase went wrong

Every purchase of our games goes through Valve, so refunds, payment problems and Steam account issues have to be handled there. Open a ticket at help.steampowered.com. If a bug is the reason you are refunding, please tell us as well — we would like the chance to fix it.

The game will not launch, or it crashes

Three things fix this most of the time: verify the game files from Steam (right-click the game → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity), update your graphics drivers, and restart. If it still happens, email us with your log file attached and we will look at it ourselves.

How do I join the playtest?

We run closed playtests with players who know the roguelike genre well. Tick the tester box when you sign up on the studio page and tell us what you have played — we contact testers directly when a new build is ready.

Can I stream your games or put them in a video?

Yes — streams, playthroughs and videos are all fine, monetised ones included, and you do not need to ask us first. What you may not do is resell the game or its assets, or upload the build itself. If you would like a press key or artwork for a thumbnail, just email us.

Press, publishing or business enquiries

Same address, and it reaches the founders directly — write to contact@amberroach.games with “Press” or “Publishing” in the subject line and we will get back to you quickly.

Remove me from your mailing list, or delete my data

Email us with “Data removal” in the subject line, from the address you signed up with. We delete the record within 30 days and confirm once it is done. We only ever store what you typed into our sign-up form, and we never sell it to anyone.

Other Channels

Or Find Us Here

Good for quick questions and development chatter. For anything that needs tracking — a bug, a refund note, a data request — email is still the channel that reaches us reliably.
